A Handy Manny 1st Birthday!

My friend Summer threw an amazing 

1st Birthday Party for her son Gage!

His favorite cartoon is 

Handy Manny

so Summer made sure to 

include all the adventures of Manny Garcia

at Gage's Big #1!

This was such a colorful and cute

party, I just had to share!

MEET THE BIRTHDAY BOY

THE INVITATION

Summer purchased custom Handy Manny invitations 

from Acorn Design Studio. 

These invitations were perfect as it let everyone in on the theme

and set the tone for his Big #1!

MR. LOPART'S CANDY STORE

For all you Handy Manny fans, this was very fitting, as you know 

in most episodes when Manny and the Tools leave for repair, 

they see Mr. Lopart and his pet cat Fluffy in front of their 

candy store! MMM!

THE CAKES

Who says you have to open your pocket books wide when you

need super cute cakes!?! Summer was able to get three cakes for under

$40 from Buy For Less grocery store in OKC. They were all 

oh-so cute and oh-so yummy and EASY on her birthday budget!

I loved how the cake table featured Handy Manny

and Gage's two-tiered birthday cake featured The Tools! I also loved 

Gage's personalized tool box that was used for the utensil holder!

THE TABLE DECOR

Summer set up a long table in her dining room covered in a blue table 

 cloth.  She had two bouquets of Handy Manny balloons on each end 

that were tied to tool kits! She purchased the plastic tool kits 

from Ace Hardware and the plastic tools at The Dollar Tree! 

THE DRINK STATION

Drinks were separated into brightly colored buckets and labeled

with Handy Manny clip art! SO CUTE!

GIVEAWAYS

Party guests were sent home with these brightly colored bags

full of summer time goodies and Handy Manny Stickers!

A YEAR IN REVIEW

Summer put together this special themed board showing off Gage

throughout his first year! Each month her husband, Art, and Gage took

a picture in the same spot. It is so amazing to see how fast these little ones grow!

Art joked to the party guests that the board really showed a man with money

at month 1 and a man with no money at month 12! 

He is right, babies DO cost a lot of $$$!!

 CAKE TIME!!

There is something special about seeing a baby eat cake for the first time!!

Two of my boys turned around just in time for me to take a 

quick pic! They were watching the Handy Manny movie that was 

playing on the big screen throughout the party!
