Anyhoo, we were texting about my recent vacation and how nice it was to have a couple of days without the little ones! I love the little ones dearly but it was nice to not have to say "NO" or "Come here" or have 25+ pounds attached to my ankles as I cleaned the kitchen! In fact, I didn't have to clean a kitchen!
This got me thinking....
I bet there are a lot of "buzz" words all mothers use! I think it would be funny to see how many we all use every day! I bet we have a lot in common!
Just for fun...I have compiled a list for mommies with toddlers!
What do you think? Do you say these too?
To get me started, Urban Dictionary's Definition:
*pretty harsh but I guess accurate!*
- What did mommy just say
- Mommy said no
- Come here
- Get away from that
- No No
- Let's go
- Come on
- Let's call daddy
- When is your daddy going to get home
- What do you want
- No No No
- Keep your shoes on
- What did you do with your diaper
- Poo Poo
- Let's change your diaper
- Mommy's almost done
- Time Out
- Let's go bye bye
- What does a ___ say? (Insert every animal you can think of)
- 1 -2 -3-4-5-6-7-8-99999- 1o!
- ABCDEFG HIJKLMNOPpppp QRS TUV WXY&Z
- (Okay, 1 more.. "I love you")
Being a full time mommy was the best decision I have ever made! Even through the last 20 months of trial and error, hardships, and at times, misery, I know this job is a true honor and I accept it happily and gracefully! The highs far outweigh the lows! It is truly a blessing to have the opportunity to spend the entire day with the ones I love and cherish the most. God is Good and he has blessed me with two wonderful boys and I am glad to be that person to guide them, with him, through their journey in this life.
(Even if my kitchen never stays cleaned!)
- Jennifer, Mommy to Jack and Jake
